Pail End is a one-bedroom holiday let, next door to the owners' house in the Peak District village of Brassington, a couple of miles from Carsington Water.
Stepping into Pail End, there is an open-plan living area, with compact kitchen and sitting area. Upstairs, you have a double eaves bedroom, with a window looking south along the valley, complete with a couple of chairs and small table for morning coffee, or tea breaks. A comfy, king-size bed with a low footboard to accommodate taller guests. Soft and firm pillows.
Outside Pail End is a terraced lawn with table and chairs; this area of the owners' garden is enjoyed by guests on fine days.
Stunning Countryside Setting
The village of Brassington benefits from two friendly pubs.
Carsington Water is just over two miles away - very popular with our guests for easy walking with visitor facilities. Nearby is the Cromford & High Peak Trail: the former railway track now much-enjoyed by walkers and cyclists.
Pail End is for couples (or singles) who are looking for a relaxing break in the countryside, with inspiring views, invigorating walks, and interesting places to visit, so you can return home refreshed.

Our first stay at Pail End and hopefully not our last. Great little cottage. Clean, cosy and warm with everything we needed for our stay. Brassington is a lovely village, with walks from the door and places to visit locally. Pubs and shop within walking distance also. We hope to stay again soon.
