Well, it's incredibly difficult to compete these days, with so many holiday lets in the Peak District, and the market being dominated by a handful of very large holiday let agencies. We think Pail End is ethically sound: a local house hasn't been lost to yet another holiday let or second home; it doesn't add to the parking problems in the village; it is run about as sustainably (environmentally) as it can be (no greenwash); and it provides fairly priced holiday accommodation.
This is not marketing; it's what we believe we should do. We put a lot of effort into making it really nice to stay in; it's not just another income stream just because we live in a nice village.
We want guests to come here and have a really nice holiday, so please help us to continue doing so...
